ABOUT Aate ka Halwa/Kadha Prasad RECIPE

Halwa is a treaditional dish in India which is offered to god for "Navaidyam". Made from Whole wheat flour & desi ghee with cardamom flavor.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Wheat flour- 1 cup
  2. Rawa/Suji-3 tbsp
  3. Sugar-1/2 cup or according to taste
  4. Ghee-1/2 cup
  5. Cardamom powder-1tbsp
  6. Chopped Cashews-1.5 tsp
  7. Chopped Almonds-1.5 tsp


  1. Take a heavy bottom or non stick pan
  2. Heat ghee & add wheat flour & rawa together
  3. Roast it on a slow flame till nice aroma comes & you get a golden brown color.
  4. Add required water & mix it till no lumps.
  5. Add sugar at this stage
  6. Cook it untill ghee leaves corner & you get desired halwa consistency.
  7. Now add chopped dry fruits & cardamom powder.
  8. Mix it well.turn off the gas
  9. Your Halwa is ready to offer God & then your self.:pray::pray:
