ABOUT Masala semiya RECIPE

This is a typical south Indian breakfast, made with delicious vermicelli. A quick and easy recipe to follow.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Vermi celli semiya 1 cup
  2. Water 1/2 cup
  3. Curd 5 tsp
  4. Onion 1
  5. Tomato 1
  6. Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  7. Garam masala 1 tsp
  8. Chilli powder 2 tsp
  9. Salt as required
  10. Oil as required


  1. Roast the semiya well or you can buy roasted vermicelli semiya.
  2. In pan, heat oil ,saute onion till golden brown colour.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste ,wait for 4 min. now add tomato. mix well. add salt,chilli powder and then add curd, mix Well.
  4. Pour half cup of water and add garam masala ,roasted semiya. stir well.
  5. Wait for 8-10 min . Easy and tasty semiya is ready to be served.
