Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Wheat Flour - 1 Cup
  2. Yellow moong dal/lentil - 1/2 cup
  3. Red chilly powder - 1/2 tsp
  4. Salt - to taste
  5. Oil - for frying


  1. Take a large bowl add wheat flour and water.
  2. Make a simple wheat flour dough
  3. Res the dough for 30 minutes
  4. Soak moong dal for 3 to 4 hours
  5. Grind it without water to make a fine paste
  6. Add red chilly powder and salt.
  7. Divide the dough into equal size balls
  8. Roll the ball to make a puri
  9. Spread the moong dal paste on one side of puri
  10. Heat enough oil in a pan.
  11. Place the puri in a pan and fry crispy on a low flame
  12. Moong dal surface of the puri is on the top of the pan
  13. Serve hot
