Masala puri with moong

Ingredients to make Masala puri with moong

  • For masala puri:-
  • wheat 2 cup
  • salt to taste
  • Dry kasori methi
  • red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • 1/2tbsp turmeric
  • Carom seeds1 tbsp
  • oil for puri
  • For moong:-
  • 1 cup overnight soak moong
  • oil 5 tbsp
  • Asofoteida 1 pinch
  • red chilli powder 1 tbsp
  • turmeric 1/2tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  • Corriender powder 2 tbsp
  • Dry mango powder 1/2tbsp

How to make Masala puri with moong

  1. Knead a soft dough for this add all puri ingredients.
  2. In a pan add oil for moong ,cumin seed, pinch of hung&all spices.add 1 cup water
  3. Cook moong in cooker for 2 whistle
  4. After 2 whistle check it
  5. Add moong in pan.cook 5 minutes in medium flame.
  6. Heat oil for puri, take a portion of dough roll it &fry it.
  7. Your Masala puri&moong is ready

My Tip:

If you forget to soak moong overnight ,you can soak early morning in hot water for 5 hours
