Red Velvet Cake (eggless)

Ingredients to make Red Velvet Cake (eggless)

  • maida 100grams
  • Milkmaid 200 grams
  • butter 60 grams
  • Cocoa powder 1 tsp(optional)
  • Red food color as required
  • Baking powder 1 tsp
  • Soda half a tsp
  • cream cheese 300 grams
  • Icing sugar 150 grams
  • Whipped cream 150 grams
  • Icing sugar 150

How to make Red Velvet Cake (eggless)

  1. Sieve maida, baking powder, soda and cocoa together .
  2. Mix milkmaid and butter together.
  3. Mix maida mixture and milkmaid mixture together slowly adding water and make a batter.
  4. Add red colour.
  5. Pour in a grease 8 inch cake square tin for 40 minutes or until done at 180 deg C, let cool.
  6. Cut the Cake in three slices and use a heart shape cookie cutter cut the cake in heart shape.
  7. There should be 15 slices to make 5 heart shape cakes or you can make any shape
  8. Take cream cheese and beat till its light add icing sugar till fluffy add lightly whipped cream and beat.
  9. Take a platter put some icing on top and place a slice of the heart.
  10. Spread some cream cheese frosting on the layer and then again put the heart slice and then again apply the frosting and place the third heart shape slice on top.
  11. Take the frosting and add some red Colour and apply only on the top of the heart will look red on the top n white in the middle or you can apply the entire frosting to cover the cake.
  12. Keep in the fridge to set for 3 hours.
  13. Make some crumble of the left over cake n spread on the plate or cover the cake in the sides.
  14. The cake is ready.
