This is our healthy breakfast and we all relish wen its prepared.the flavours of coconut milk and jaggery enhances it and yet makes it delicious.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Lauki half peeled and grated
  2. Jaggery according to sweetness
  3. Sago dana 1 cup soaked for 20 mts
  4. Coconut milk 2 glass
  5. Coconut milk thin 1 cup
  6. Milk powder 4 tbsp
  7. Water 1 cup
  8. Almonds and cashews. Few cut into small
  9. Pista for garnish .

Instructions

  1. peel lauki and grate it finely and keep aside . 2 soak sago Dana for 20 mts
  2. cut all badam and cashew finely and keep aside . 4.extract the coconut milk and keep aside.keep. Thin.milk aside as well
  3. In a bowl take milk powder and add water to it and keep aside.
  4. In a vessel put the thin milk and regular prepared milk and bring to boil with cardamom pods .
  5. Add sago and lauki to it and cook till it cooks well almost 90 percent .add jaggery to it and cook for a while add the thick milk and cook for a while .once it's consistency is creamy turn off the flame add nuts to it and serve hot yummy kheer ....with a cup of tea or coffee
