This is an easy breakfast option made with semolina.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 2 cup sooji [semolina]
  2. 1cup curd
  3. 2 chopped onion
  4. 2 chopped tomatoes
  5. 2 chopped capsicum
  6. 2 green chillies
  7. Salt
  8. 1/4 tsp cumin seeds
  9. 1/4 tsp mustard seeds
  10. Some kari patta [few]
  11. Coriander leaves [handful]
  12. Oil


  1. Make a thick batter using semolina, curd and water.
  2. Add salt and cumin seeds.
  3. Add all the chopped veggies.
  4. Heat 1 tbsp oil
  5. Put mustard seeds and curry leaves.
  6. When this splutters, pour this into the batter.
  7. Mix well.
  8. Nw heat a non stick tawa
  9. Pour a ladle of the batter, spread it evenly and thick.
  10. Add little oil on the sides and cook on both sides.
  11. Serve with Chutney.
