ABOUT Oats Nankhatai RECIPE

Every one loves to have Nankhatai! Have tried to make it healthy by using oats and whole wheat flour!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. 200 g powdered oats
  2. 100 g whole wheat flour
  3. 100 g rava
  4. 100 g maida
  5. 250 g powdered sugar
  6. 250 g nutralite butter soft
  7. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  8. 1 tbsp Fresh curd
  9. 1 tbsp baking powder
  10. 1 tbsp jaifal n elaichi powder
  11. 2 tbsp powdered dry fruits

Instructions

  1. Take butter n powdered sugar in a bowl and keep mixing till it becomes almost double in quantity. Remember that butter should be of room temperature. The colour of the mixture will also become lighter when its properly mixed.
  2. Now add the essence, curd, baking powder, crushed dry fruits n jaifal & elaichi powder to the above mixture. Add the mixture of maida-crushed oats-rawa to the mixture in small quantity n keep mixing.
  3. When all the ingredients are mixed properly make small pedas out of it and keep them in baking tray.
  4. Keep the tray in pre-heated oven at 180° C for 20 minutes. May be your oven might take less or more time just check that the bottom of the Nankhatai is cooked properly n the surface of it is not very soft.
  5. Take out the Nankhatai in a plate n let it cool to room temperature n then u enjoy this healthy Nankhatai... :)
