Chick pea contains high fibre. it provides us essential minerals & vitamins. This dish can be taken as a main dish or a side dish for rice, puttu or kanji.

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. cooked chick pea 2 cups
  2. Onion 1 chopped
  3. mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
  4. red chillies 3 chopped
  5. Curry leaves a few
  6. Grated coconut 2 tbsp
  7. oil 2 tbsp
  8. Salt.


  1. Heat a pan with oil.
  2. put mustard seeds , red chillies & curry leaves. fry for sometime.
  3. then add onion.fry till done.
  4. finally put cooked chick pea & salt. stir well. cook on a low flame for a few min.
  5. serve hot.
