Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Black chick peas 2 bowls
  2. 2onions
  3. 2..3 cloves garlic
  4. 3 tomatoes
  5. 2 green chillies
  6. 1 inch ginger
  7. Oil 2 tablespoons
  8. Chana masala 2 teaspoons
  9. Salt 1 teaspoon
  10. Cumin seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  11. Red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon
  12. Garam masala powder 1/2 teaspoon

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak chickpeas for atleast 6 hours
  2. Boil adding 1 glass of water and salt in a pressure cooker for 15 minutes
  3. Now chickpeas are soft
  4. Keep aside
  5. In a pan add oil 2 teaspoon
  6. Add asoefodia
  7. Add cumin seeds
  8. Add finely chopped onions
  9. Add tomato puree
  10. Add chopped garlic,ginger and green chillies
  11. Add all the spices
  12. Roast well
  13. Add this spice mixture in boiled chickpeas
  14. Cook for 2 minutes more
  15. Ready to serve
