Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. For the chilla batter
  2. 1 cup split green gram
  3. 2 green chilli
  4. 1 tsp ginger garlic chopped
  5. Salt
  6. Stuffing
  7. Coriender leaf chopped
  8. Grated panner 1/2 cup
  9. 1 tomato chopped
  10. 1 onion chppped
  11. 2 green chilli chopped
  12. Salt
  13. Oil for greasing and cooking


  1. For the chilla batter:
  2. Clean wash and soak the chilkewali moong dal in water for at least 3 hours.
  3. Drain add the green chilli ginger garlic asafoetida salt and enough water and blend in a mixer to a coarse paste and keep aside.
  4. For the stuffing:
  5. Grate the paneer and all veggi and then mix it thoroughly.
  6. Heat a non stick pan and grease it with oil.
  7. Pour a ladleful of the mixture on the pan and spread it evenly to make a thin of circle.
  8. Cook the chillas using a little oil till brown spots appear on both sides.
  9. Place one portion of the stuffing on one half of the chilla and fold to make a semi circle. Repeat with the remaining batter and stuffing .
  10. Stuffed chillas serve hot.
