ABOUT Mal pua RECIPE

Malpua recipe are the sweet pancakes served with chilled rabri (thickened sweetened milk) garnished with nuts. Traditionally malpua are made with khoya and all purpose flour (maida) and deep fried in huge amount of ghee. Today I am sharing the cheatsheet method of malpua recipe made with condensed milk.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup all purpose flour
  2. 1 cup milk maid
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 1ts fennel
  5. 1ts whole black paper
  6. For garnishing
  7. 5 to 6 chopped pistachios
  8. Oil for deep fry
  9. For sugar syrup
  10. 1cup sugar
  11. 1cup water

Instructions

  1.  Take a mixing bowl, add condensed milk and warm milk
  2.  Add all purpose flour(maida) and fennel seeds (saunf),and black whole paper.
  3. Give it a quick mix till no lumps are there. the consistency of batte should be not so liquide or not Thik, let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Now heat oil in a pan and put a small ladel of batter and fry Mal pua til golden in colour.
  5. Dip Malpua in sugar syrup for 5 min serve with Rabari or Jalebi.
  6. In a saucepan combine sugar and water. Bring to a boil, stirring, until sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool.
  7. Now put ready Mal pua in sugar syrup for few minutes
