Bathua ( Cheel Bhaji) Puri

Ingredients to make Bathua ( Cheel Bhaji) Puri

  • Bathua....250 gm ( leaves removed from stem)
  • salt...1/2 tsp
  • wheat flour....1 cup
  • oil for frying

How to make Bathua ( Cheel Bhaji) Puri

  1. Wash leaves thoroughly. Take a pan. Put leaves in it. Fill with water. Boil for 5 minutes. Drain it.
  2. Make paste of it in mixer.
  3. Make dough by adding flour, bathua paste and salt. If required add water. Dough should be hard.
  4. Take a kadhai. Put oil in it. Make small Puris. Fry them in oil on low medium flame.
  5. Tasty puris are ready to relish.

My Tip:

Add little sugar while boiling bathua to retain its green colour.
