ABOUT Oven Baked Doughnuts... RECIPE

Doughnuts are easily made in an oven too. Healthy and delicious at the same time. These can be made and stored for later use or in bulk for children's party at home. Simple ingredients and a doughnut pan is all that one needs for making these at home. Decorate them with your choice of glazes and enjoy them with a cup of hot chocolate or a cappucino.

Ingredients Serving: 7

  1. All purpose flour 2 1/2 cups
  2. Butter 4 tbsp
  3. Eggs 2
  4. Salt 1/8th tsp
  5. Baking soda 1/2 tsp
  6. Baking powder 1 tsp
  7. Nutmeg 1/8th tsp
  8. Vanilla essence 1 tbsp
  9. Oil 4 tbsp
  10. Milk 1 cup


  1. Whisk the flour , baking powder , nutmeg , cinnamon and salt together in a bowl.
  2. Beat the butter and sugar well in another bowl.
  3. Add eggs and milk to this mixture and mix well.
  4. Mix the dry and wet ingredients together.
  5. Spoon this mix in a doughnut pan upto 1/2 taking care not to overflow upto the rim.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes or until the doughnuts turn golden.
  7. Allow them to cool down for about 5 minutes in the pan before taking them out.
  8. Use desired glaze for them according to choice.
  9. For the cinnamon-sugar glaze, shake the warm doughnuts in a plastic bag with cinnamon and sugar.
  10. For the icing sugar glazed doughnuts, shake warm doughnuts in a plastic bag with icing sugar.
  11. Decorate with coconut flakes or even chopped nuts of choice.
  12. Decorate them as desired and liked by your family.
