Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Maize flour (makki ki atta) 2 cups
  2. Gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup
  3. Semolina (suji)... 1 table spoon
  4. Peas puree.... 1/2 cup
  5. Luke warm water as required for making batter
  6. Salt and green chillies to taste
  7. Cumin seed and ajwain... 1 tea spoon each
  8. Oil or desi ghee.. As required
  9. Sauce or chutney to serve


  1. Make puree of raw peas
  2. Make a batter using all items except ghee of oil and keep aside for 15 minutes
  3. On a non stick tawa using little oil or ghee, make chillas and cook on both sides on low gas
  4. Serve chillas with sauce or chutney of your choice
