Ingredients to make Healthy cheela

  • maize flour (makki ki atta) 2 cups
  • gram flour (besan) 1/2 cup
  • semolina (suji)... 1 table spoon
  • peas puree.... 1/2 cup
  • Luke warm water as required for making batter
  • Salt and green chillies to taste
  • cumin seed and ajwain... 1 tea spoon each
  • Oil or desi ghee.. As required
  • Sauce or chutney to serve

How to make Healthy cheela

  1. Make puree of raw peas
  2. Make a batter using all items except ghee of oil and keep aside for 15 minutes
  3. On a non stick tawa using little oil or ghee, make chillas and cook on both sides on low gas
  4. Serve chillas with sauce or chutney of your choice

My Tip:

Hot water should be used preferably
