ABOUT Healthy Daal Chilla RECIPE

A healthy chilla filled with veggies and sprouts.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Moong daal - 1/2 cup
  2. Whole moong bean sprouts - 1/2 cup
  3. Green chillies - 7
  4. Ginger - 1inch
  5. Cumin seeds - 1tsp
  6. Haldi - 1 tsp
  7. Salt to taste
  8. Rice flour - 3tbsp
  9. Mix vegetables - 1 cup (onion, tomato, capsicum, carrot)
  10. Sprouts - 3tbsp
  11. Paneer - 2tbsp
  12. Sambar powder - 1tsp
  13. Oil - 2tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak moong dal overnight. Grind dal, green chilli, ginger, salt, haldi, cumin seeds, rice flour. The batter should be like dosa batter.
  2. Chop all the veggies and add sambar powder to them.
  3. Heat a non stick pan, add a little oil and spread the dal like a dosa. Once the Chilla is cooked spoon some veggie mixture, paneer and sprouts on top. put a little oil around the edges and fold like a dosa.
  4. Serve hot with coconut chutney.
