ABOUT Pesarattu RECIPE

A delicious and hearty, dosa which is healthy with the indulgence of nutritious pulses.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Green moong dal - 1/2 cup
  2. Ginger (chopped) - 2 tsp
  3. Green chilli - 2
  4. Asafoetida - 1/4 th tsp
  5. Salt
  6. Rice flour - 2 tbsp
  7. Oil/ghee
  8. Toppings :
  9. Grated carrot - 3 tbsp
  10. Grated coconut - 2 tbsp
  11. Onion (chopped) - 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Soak the dal overnight and grind them with rest of the ingredients except the rice flour and oil, to a smooth paste..
  2. Mix the rice flour to it and stir.
  3. Heat a non stick pan, pour a ladle of the mixture and roll like a dosa.
  4. Sprinkle the toppings generously, and drizzle oil on the sides. Let this cook for 2-3 minutes, serve with coconut chutney.
