Healthy Veggie Soya Burger

Ingredients to make Healthy Veggie Soya Burger

  • For the Cutlets
  • 1 cup boiled, peeled n mashed potatoes
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped french beans
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped cabbage
  • 2 tbsp Chopped green capsicum
  • 2 tbsp boiled peas
  • 1 tsp chilli ginger paste
  • salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander leaves
  • 1/4 soya granules( soaked in water for 2 hours)
  • 2 tbsp cornflour
  • Breadcrumbs for rolling the cutlets
  • oil for frying
  • 1/2 cup maida dissolved in 3/4 cup water
  • Other ingredients
  • Mayonnaise as required
  • Green chutney as required
  • Schezwan sauce as required(optional)
  • 4 tsp melted butter
  • 4 cheese slices
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • For the salad
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup sliced onions
  • salt to taste
  • Black pepper powder to taste

How to make Healthy Veggie Soya Burger

  1. For the Cutlets
  2. Boil the potatoes, peel and mash the potatoes.In a bowl mix all the vegetables with potato mash mixture.Add the squeezed soya granules.
  3. Add salt , Corainder leaves chopped, mix well.Add cornflour n mix the vegetables.
  4. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a circle.Dip each cutlet in the maida mixture.Add and roll in the bread crumbs till it is evenly coated from all the sides.Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep fry each cutlet till golden brown in colour.
  5. Assembling the burger
  6. Cut each burger bun horizontally into two. Apply 1/2 tsp of butter on the inside of each half of the bun and toast them lightly. Keep aside.
  7. Apply 3/4 tsp of Mayonnaise on each buttered side of the bun half
  8. Apply green Chutney on the lower half of a bun and place it on a clean, dry surface with the buttered, mayonnaise spread side facing up.Place the lettuce leaf, a cutlet and a cheese slice over it Place sliced tomatoes and sliced onions on it and cover with an upper half of the bun with the buttered mayonnaise spread side facing down and press it lightly. U can apply schezwan sauce instead of green chutney as per ur choice.
  9. Repeat the same procedure to make 3 more burgers
  10. Serve immediately with tomato sauce.

My Tip:

This is a Healthy Burger Should be Served immediately.
