GREEN MASALA RICE

Ingredients to make GREEN MASALA RICE

  • (For Green masala)
  • coriander Leaves.....1 cup
  • mint leaves ........... 1/2 cup
  • green chillies........2-3
  • onions................1 chopped
  • tomatoes...........1 chopped
  • garlic.................7 to 8 cloves
  • ginger ...............1 inch piece
  • (Other Ingredients)
  • rice ....... 1 cup
  • coriander powder .. 1/4 tsp
  • cumin powder ....... 1/4 tsp
  • turmeric powder ... 1/8 tsp
  • salt ..... to taste
  • oil ..... 2-3 tbsps

How to make GREEN MASALA RICE

  1. Grind all the ingredients mentioned in the green masala list and use as required.
  2. Wash and soak the rice. Heat the oil in a pan and add 1/4 cup of green masala paste.
  3. Saute it for a minute and add the salt and spice powders. Stir in the rice.
  4. Add 2 cups water and simmer.
  5. Cook until done.

My Tip:

You can add some vegetables if you like.
