Matar Ghughani

Ingredients to make Matar Ghughani

  • 1kg Green peas
  • 1tsp of Garam masala
  • 1/2tsp of sugar
  • 1/4tsp of jeera
  • 1/4tsp of heeng
  • 1tsp of ginger greated
  • 1/2tsp of green chilly
  • Pinch of red chilli powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2tsp Amchoor powder
  • lemon juice

How to make Matar Ghughani

  1. Shell the green peas
  2. Take a pan add oil crackle jeera and heeng
  3. Saute ginger
  4. Add green peas & green chilli chopped
  5. Add salt, Garam masala, red chilli powder, & sugar
  6. Add 1tb of water &cover the lid cook until soft
  7. Open the lid add Amchoor powder mix well
  8. Before serving sprinkle lemon juice and chopped coriander leaves..
