Pakode wali Kadhi

Ingredients to make Pakode wali Kadhi

  • 1 cup sour curd
  • 11/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup besan
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • 1/2 tsp sugar
  • 2 onion chopped
  • 2 green chillies chopped
  • mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • A pinch of hing
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • For pakoda
  • 3 onion sliced
  • 1 tbsp coriander leaves
  • 2 tbsp besan
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • salt to taste
  • turmeric powder 1 tsp
  • Ajwain 1 tsp

How to make Pakode wali Kadhi

  1. Make a smooth batter of the pakoda ingredients. Keep aside.
  2. In a bowl add curd water, besan, turmeric, chilli powder, salt and sugar.
  3. Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, hing, dried red chilli and the curd mix. Mix well. Keep cooking on a low flame by adding water little by little.
  4. In another pan, heat oil. Make pakodas of the besan batter. Fry till crisp and golden.
  5. Add it to the kadhi.
  6. Remove into a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with coriander.
  8. Serve with hot rice.
