Ingredients to make Bread Pudding Cake....

  • Bread slices 12-14
  • sugar 4-5 tbsp
  • egg 1
  • Vanilla essence 1 tsp
  • cashewnuts slivered 2 tbsp

How to make Bread Pudding Cake....

  1. First of all heat a pan with sugar on a low flame.
  2. Allow it to caramelise.
  3. Add two tablespoons of water to it.
  4. Allow it to bubble up and switch off the flame when thick.
  5. Add this caramelised sugar to a greased baking dish as the last layer.
  6. Add bread slices along with milk to a blender.
  7. Blitz until you get a smooth batter.
  8. Whisk an egg into this along with the vanilla essence.
  9. Pour this onto the baking dish now on top of the caramelised sugar.
  10. Bake this on 180° for 20-25 minutes.
  11. Slice it after a while and serve with a big dollop of fresh cream.
