Custard Pie Pudding

Ingredients to make Custard Pie Pudding

  • Custard powder 6tsp
  • Full fat cream milk 1l
  • Bread crumbs 2cups
  • Cornflakes 1 cup
  • Essence 1tsp vanilla or any thing of choice
  • sugar 4tsp
  • Nuts
  • paneer cubes 1cup
  • Choco chips half cup
  • Muesli half cup

How to make Custard Pie Pudding

  1. First boil the milk on simmer. Then take 5tsp of custard powder in a cup and add cold milk to it to prepare the mixture Once ready add it to the boiling milk. Keep stirring to prevent lumps. .
  2. Now add sugar and cubes of paneer to it. Let it boil on simmer for 30 mins till the custard becomes thick in consistency After its done bring it to cool. Refrigerate for 3 to 4 hrs.
  3. Now add choco delight cornflakes to the custard and choco chips. Again refrigerate for 1 hour.
  4. Now to prepare the pie take a heart shaped mould and layer a bed of breadcrumbs evenly. Now in the next layer spread choco delight cornflakes. Now pour the chilled custard mixture evenly
  5. Garnish with some nuts and choco chips. In a steamer put some water and put the mould of custard mixture on simmer for 30 mins. Cover the mould with silver foil while steaming or baking.
  6. Let it cool. Then unmould on a plate and drizzle chocolate sauce and garnish with strawberries and nuts.

My Tip:

Steam or bake for longer period to get the crunchy texture
