About Crunchy caramel custard pudding Recipe

This is a recipe of delicious desert made with caramel, a perfect after dinner desert for a party occasion.

Ingredients to make Crunchy caramel custard pudding

  • Custard powder 3tbs
  • Milk 750ml
  • Brown sugar 1/2 cup
  • Nuts cashew,almonds, walnuts
  • Biscuits of mixed flavours 10 pieces
  • Hershey 's chocolate syrup ( optional)
  • Chocolate Cup cakes
  • Grated chocolate for garnishing
  • Vanilla Essence
  • Yellow butter 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh cream 4 tablespoons

How to make Crunchy caramel custard pudding

  1. Take a deep pan for boiling milk and then add custard powder slowly while carefully stirring to avoid lumps .
  2. Once the custard starts thickening , remove from heat and let it cool.It should be not very thick.
  3. Crush the biscuits in a zip pouch.
  4. Now dry roast the nuts on low heat and then crush them.
  5. For caramel sauce take a thick bottom pan and add 2 tablespoon full yellow butter,let it melt on slow heat.Put brown sugar and wait till it melts while you keep on stirring .Keep on watching for the golden brown color. It will start leaving the sides of the pan. Now remove it from heat and add some fresh cream, roasted nuts while whisking with an egg beater.Put few drops of vanilla essence.
  6. Now take a glass ware and start layering your pudding.First put a Layer of custard followed by crushed biscuits. Then add cream layer along with Hershey 's followed by cup cakes cut into pieces .Top another layer of custard followed by caramel sauce.
  7. Serve it hot or chilled after refrigerating for an hour.

My Tip:

Please watch for vanilla essence to not to be used more than half a tea spoon or else it will give sourness.
