About Paneer masala Recipe

This is a delicious recipe of a curry made with paneer, to be served as a side dish with some roti or parathas.

Paneer masala

Ingredients to make Paneer masala

  • 1 cup paneer
  • cashews 10to 12
  • coconut 2 tablespoon
  • cardamom 2
  • onion 1
  • tomato 1 big
  • chilli powder 1 spoon
  • amchur powder half spoon
  • Garam masala as per taste ,
  • salt to taste
  • Jeera 1 tea spoon ginger one piece
  • coriander seeds one spoon
  • Kasuri methi 1/4 spoon

How to make Paneer masala

  1. In a mixie add one spoon coriander seeds ,cashews,ginger& mixie it .Now in a mixie add ,onion &tomato & make a purée. In a pan add 3 tablespoon butter & add jeera to it .Now add grounded masala & purée to it .Add crushed cardamoms to it .
  2. After the raw smell goes ,add Garam masala ,amchur powder ,chilli powder ,to it & mix well .Add salt to it & Now add fried paneers to it .Finally add Kasuri methi to it .Serve with naan & parathas.

My Tip:

I add coconut to it .It is North Indian dish with South Indian twist.
