These rose are sweet and juicy made out of sweet potato.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Boiled mashed sweet potato - 1 cup
  2. Semolina -1/2 cup
  3. Maida - 1/2 cup
  4. ghee- 1/4 cup
  5. Baking soda- 1/4 tsp
  6. Sugar - 1 1/2 cup
  7. Lemon Juice- 1 tbsp
  8. Cardamom powder- 1/2tsp
  9. blanched almonds
  10. Water

Instructions

  1. Mix semolina with mashed sweet potato and rest for 30 minutes. After that Add ghee, maida and baking soda with sweet potato mixture and make a dough.
  2. Divide the dough into big size peda. Roll the peda like chapati. Cut the chapati by round cookie cutter like small poori. Arrange the poori one after another by little over lapping ( require 4 poori). Roll the pooris tightly and cut it into the middle. Two roses will come.
  3. Put one blanched almond on the top of each rose. Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
  4. After baking.
  5. Add 1 1/2 cup water with sugar and put on the gas to boiling. Add 1 tbsp lemon juice and make it 1 string sugar syrup. Pour hot syrup on the baked roses and keep for 1 hours.
  6. Juicy roses are ready to serve.
