Restaurant style Shahi Paneer in rich creamy gravy

Shahi Paneer

Ingredients to make Shahi Paneer

  • paneer - 250 gm
  • onion - 1
  • garlic pods - 5
  • tomato - 1
  • cashews+ Almond paste - 2 tbsp
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garam masala powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Kasuri methi - 1/2 tsp
  • salt- as required
  • cream -1 tbsp

How to make Shahi Paneer

  1. Cut Paneer into cubes and Fry it till light golden.
  2. Remove from oil.
  3. Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions and garlic pods.
  4. Fry it for 1 minute.
  5. Remove from oil.
  6. Boil tomato in water and make tomato puree.
  7. Grind fried onion and garlic and make paste.
  8. Heat butter in pan.
  9. Add onion garlic paste and saute.
  10. Then add tomato puree and cashew+almond paste and stir.
  11. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder , garam masala powder and last add kasuri methi.
  12. Cook it for 5 minute.
  13. If gravy is too thick add some water.
  14. Add salt.
  15. Then add fried paneer cubes and Cook it till paneer done.
  16. Garnish with fresh cream.
  17. Restaurant style Shahi paneer is ready.
