  1. Amaranth leaves chopped 1 bunch
  2. Water 1/2 ltr
  3. Salt 1 tsp
  4. Tamarind 1 gooseberry sized
  5. Turmeric powder a pinch
  6. Jaggery 1 lemon sized
  7. Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  8. For seasoning...
  9. Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  10. Red chilli 1 broken
  11. Urad dal 1 tsp
  12. Curry leaves few

Instructions

  1. CHOP WASHED RED AMARANTH LEAVES
  2. HEAT OIL, ADD MUSTARD SEEDS AND RED CHILLI
  3. ADD URAD DAL AND CURRY LEAVES, ALLOW IT TO FRY
  4. ADD CHOPPED AMARANTH LEAVES
  5. WATER
  6. TAMARIND SOAKED WATER
  7. SALT TO TASTE, PINCH OF TURMERIC POWDER
  8. JAGGERY AND CHILLI POWDER, ALLOW IT TO COOK TILL SMOOTH AND SERVE
