About Kesariya Thandai Lassi Recipe

Cool cool kesariya thandai lassi to beat the heat and get rejuvenated. It is a double dose of coolant i.e thandai and lassi to celebrate the colours of Holi and get relief from hot summers.

Kesariya Thandai Lassi

Ingredients to make Kesariya Thandai Lassi

  • 2 cups curd preferably fresh and thick
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon milkmaid
  • 2 teaspoon sugar powder or as per the taste
  • 10 to 12 saffron strands
  • 2 pinch of cardamom powder
  • 2 teaspoon badam kesariya thandai syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pistachios chopped for the garnish
  • 1 cup ice cubes /crushed ice

How to make Kesariya Thandai Lassi

  1. First of all soak saffron strands in lukewarm water and keep it aside for 15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile take curd in a bowl, beat it with the help of a beater till it becomes smooth and ensure that no lumps remain.
  3. Now add sugar, milk and thandai syrup and beat it again till they mix properly with curd.
  4. Add saffron flavoured water, cardamom powder and ice and mix it well with the lassi.
  5. Pour in chilled glasses .
  6. Garnish with chopped pistachios and saffron strands.
  7. Cool and refreshing flavoured lassi is ready

My Tip:

Can adjust the amount of sweetness according to the taste
