Ingredients to make Thandai thunder

  • INGREDIENTS FOR CAKE
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 cup all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 cup curd
  • 1/2 cup milkmaid
  • 6 drops vanilla essence
  • INGREDIENTS FOR THANDAI CHEESE MIX
  • 6 tbsp chaman thandai mix
  • 500 ml milk
  • 3 tbsp vanilla custard powder
  • 4 tbsp milkmaid
  • 125 gms cream cheese
  • 10 almonds
  • 10 pistachios
  • 10 cashew

How to make Thandai thunder

  1. Soak the chia seeds in 1 cup warm water
  2. Take all the dry ingredients and seive in a mixing bowl , now add the curd and mix, add the vanilla essence and milkmaid
  3. Now slowly add the soaked chia seeds to the mix and just fold.
  4. Take a 8 inch round baking dish, grease and cover with baking paper. Add the mix and in a pressure heated oven at 180 degrees for 45 mins. Toothpick test is the best.
  5. In a pan heat the milk, in a cup add little water and mix it with custard powder and milkmaid , once thickened set aside to cool
  6. In a bowl add the cream cheese and whisk till you get peaks, now add the thandai mix to this . Now pass the custard mix through a strainer into the cream cheese mix.
  7. Take a slice of chia cake in a shot glass and fill with thandai cheese mix.
  8. Take all the nuts and chop them fine.
  9. Sprinkle the nuts on the glass and later add dried rose petals. Refrigerate for 30 mins in freezer. Enjoy holi
