Parwal do pyaza is cooked with lots of onions and spices. This dish tastes extremely delicious due to the variety of spices added to it.

Ingredients to make Parwal (pointed gourd)do pyaza

  • 500gm Parwal                            
  • 2 Medium size chopped onion
  • 2 Medium size chopped tomatoes
  • 2 chopped green chillies
  • 1 tblspn ginger-Garlic paste
  • 1/2 tspn red chilli powder
  • 1/3 tspn turmeric powder
  • 1 tspn Garam masala powder
  • 1/4 tspn black seeds( kalonji)
  • 2 tblspn Fresh cream
  • salt to taste
  • oil

How to make Parwal (pointed gourd)do pyaza

  1. Peel , wash and cut the parwal ( pointed gourd) and remove any hard seeds if there. Heat oil in a pan , add chopped onion and black seeds saute till onion change colour.
  2. Now add ginger-garlic paste and mix well. Add chopped tomatoes , red chili powder, turmeric powder , garam masala powder and salt mix well. Add some water and cover the lid.
  3. When tomatoes became soft add parwal and some water.
  4. When parwal is cook very well add cream and mix. Cook about 2-3 minutes and turn off the heat.
  5. Serve with parathas ... :blush:
