Ingredients to make Grandma's style Plain Rice Rotti

  • Rice flour 1 cup + 1/2 cup
  • water 2 cup + 1/2 cup
  • salt 1/2 tsp
  • Cooking oil 4 tsp

How to make Grandma's style Plain Rice Rotti

  1. HEAT WATER ADD SALT
  2. ADD RICE FLOUR INTO BOILING WATER
  3. MIX WELL IN LOW FLAME, TURN OFF THE FLAME
  4. TAKE THE DOUGH, APPLY WATER TO HANDS AND KNEAD WELL IN WARM
  5. DEVIDE THE DOUGH IN EQUAL PORTIONS AND MAKE ROUND BALLS
  6. PAT IN HANDS AND SPRINKLE SOME RICE FLOUR ON THE FLAT CHAKLA
  7. ROLL AND PAT INTO THIN
  8. GREASE THE HEATED TAVA
  9. PLACE IT AND SPRINKLE SOME WATER
  10. PRESS IT IN DRY CLOTH, FLIP OVER IT AND COOK EVENLY
  11. IT IS BULGING
  12. AFTER COOKED BOTH THE SIDES, REMOVE AND SERVE IN HOT
