Full meal in one pot. An indo chinese dish. In kolkatta , this s a popular dish. noodles with veg & non veg with sauces. We can use lamb or any meat we like, instead of chicken. Or avoid non veg make it veg gravy, using veg only.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Cooked noodles. 100g
  2. Cooked boneless chicken pieces 50 g
  3. Thinly sliced carrots, cabbage, beans& capsicum 1 cup
  4. Onion 1 sliced .
  5. Ginger garlic chopped 1 tbsp
  6. Green chillies 2 chopped
  7. Thin Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  8. Tomato chilli sauce 1 tsp
  9. vinegar 1/4 tsp
  10. Pepper 1/2 tsp
  11. Chilli Powder 1/2 tsp to 3/4 tsp
  12. Salt
  13. oil 2 tbsp
  14. Corn flour 1 to 1 1/2 tsp,( according to the thickness of gravy u prefer.) mixed with some water.
  15. Chicken stock , or veg stock or water 3 cups.
  16. Spring onion.

Instructions

  1. Put cooked noodles in a strainer & Keep under tap water for some time.
  2. Heat a pan with oil. Add ginger garlic & green chillies. Fry.
  3. Then add onion. Saute for 1 min.
  4. Then add chicken along with pepper & chilli powder. Saute it for a few minutes.
  5. Then add veg, along with Soy sauce, tomato chilli sauce,vinegar, pepper & salt. Cook till well cooked.
  6. Then add noodles.stir well.
  7. Add 3 cups of stock or water & when it starts boiling, add corn flour mixture. Cook for sometime till gravy is semi thick.
  8. Add chilli flakes or chilli oil, on top
  9. Serve hot. No need of any accompaniment.
