Chicken curry

Ingredients to make Chicken curry

  • chicken 1 kg
  • onion 5,-6
  • ginger 1 inch
  • garlic cloves 12-15
  • tometo 2 chopped
  • 1 Simenon stick
  • 1 star annis
  • 1 mace
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 1 black cardamom
  • 7-8 black pepper
  • 1 ‎-2 bay leaf
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 tsp coriander powder
  • 2 tap red chilli powder
  • 1 tbsp chicken masala powder
  • 1 tsp kasuri methi
  • salt to taste
  • oil 200 ml
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • 1 tsp pepper powder

How to make Chicken curry

  1. Firstly wash chicken properly
  2. Grind ginger, garlic and green chili keep aside
  3. Now grind onions and keep aside
  4. Take a cooker put oil and heat it Now put all whole spices and cumin seeds stire it Now add ginger garlic chilli paste and stire it
  5. Now add onion saute for 4-5 minutesand put turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilli powder stair well
  6. Now add chopped tomato stire well cook till oil appears at top from all sides now add chicken masala powder , kasuri methi,salt and stire well
  7. Now masala is cooked add chicken pieces stire well and cover with lead for 5-6 minutes
  8. Now add warm water as required for gravy and close cooker on medium flame and take a 6 whistle and then off the flame for Deshi chicken and 4 whistle for broiler chicken
  9. Now add chopped coriander and pepper powder again close cooker for 2 minutes Chicken curry is ready
  10. Garnish with chopped coriander
  11. Serve with rumali Roti or simply roti
