Banana flower vada

Ingredients to make Banana flower vada

  • banana flower cleaned chopped 1 cup
  • Chenna dal 3/4 tsp
  • Urad dal 2 tsp
  • Raw rice 2 tsp
  • Green or red chilli 4 to 5
  • Fennal seed 1 & 1/2 tsp
  • onion chopped 1/4 cup
  • Asafodia 1/8 tsp
  • Corriander leaf, curry leaf, salt as per need
  • oil for frying

How to make Banana flower vada

  1. Soak dals,rice together for 3 hours.In blender, grind chilli, jeera/fennel first and then add the dal,completely drained from water and grind coarsely. (you can do it in two batches
  2. Then add flower and grind corsely
  3. Tranfer into bowl add green Leafs, chilli mix well
  4. Make it small patties, and heat oil and fry it
  5. Ready to taste banana flower vada

My Tip:

Fry in medium flame
