Baby corns are a versatile veggie as you can cook anything like appetizer or curries

Baby corn fingers

Ingredients to make Baby corn fingers

  • 12 baby corns
  • 2 tablespoons maida
  • 2 tablespoons cornflour
  • 2 tablespoons rice flour
  • 1/2 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1+1/2 tablespoon red chilly powder
  • 3/4 tablespoons cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper powder
  • A pinch of baking soda
  • salt to taste
  • water required
  • oil for frying

How to make Baby corn fingers

  1. Wash baby corns, cut each corns vertically into two and boil in water for 5 min. Drain and set aside
  2. Take all the ingredients (except baby corns) in a bowl
  3. Add water little by little to form batter consistency
  4. Dip each corn pieces into paste
  5. deep fry in preheated oil, until they are golden brown.
  6. Drain in paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup or mayonnaise
