About Dairy free sugar free beetroot smoothie Recipe

Refreshing, chilled, healthy and yummy smoothie for fasting days. Beetroots are high in immune boosting vitamin C, fiber and essential minerals. You don't need to add sugar in it. You can add sea salt or sendha namak and black pepper powder if you want.

Ingredients to make Dairy free sugar free beetroot smoothie

  • Beetroot - 1
  • cucumber - 1 medium
  • lemon - 1
  • Grated ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
  • cinnamon powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Flax seed powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ice cube as require
  • lemon wedge for garnishing

How to make Dairy free sugar free beetroot smoothie

  1. Boil the whole beetroot with skin in a pressure cooker.
  2. Let it cool down. Peel and chop the beetroot into small pieces.
  3. Peel and grate or chop the cucumber. Make small pieces for easy blending.
  4. Combine all the ingredients with juice of 1 lemon. You can add some ice cube too.
  5. Blend until smooth and frothy.
  6. Taste and add more lemon juice if require.
  7. Place some ice cube in the glass. Pour the mixture over it.
  8. Garnish with lemon wedge. Serve chilled.

My Tip:

You can add black salt or rock salt if you want. If you don't like cinnamon use few mint leaves instead.
