Banana urid dal balls

Ingredients to make Banana urid dal balls

  • Urid dhal - 1/2 cup
  • banana - 1
  • jaggery powder or sugar - 1/2 cup
  • salt - As per taste
  • rice flour - As desired
  • oil - To fry

How to make Banana urid dal balls

  1. Take 1/2 cup urid dal in a bowl. Soak in water for 1 hour
  2. Drain the water and add it into a mixer jar. Add jaggery powder, salt.
  3. Add a chopped banana.
  4. Grind well as a smooth paste
  5. Transfer it into a bowl and add required amount of rice flour and make it as a vada dough.
  6. heat oil in a pan and drop the dough as balls. Deep fry them
  7. When it turns golden brown take it out
