Wash and peel the lauki. Cut it into small pieces along with the onion and tomato.
Heat oil in the pressure cooker. Then add chopped onions, tomatoes and fry them for a few seconds.
Add salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and garam masala. Cook it for some time until the masala blends with the spices.
Add the chopped lauki and mix everything together. Then close the lid of the cooker.
In about 5 to 7 minutes as the cooker starts steaming, turn the heat down to medium and cook for another 3 to 4 minutes. Turn the heat off and wait until the steam goes down (different brands of cooker or the type of Lauki requires different time to cook).
Once the steam goes down, open the lid.
When ready to serve, garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
