Sukhe aloo

Ingredients to make Sukhe aloo

  • Boiled potato - 4
  • oil - 3 tablespoon
  • salt
  • mustard seeds - 2 teaspoon
  • coriander powder - 2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper powder - 1 teaspoon
  • aam chur powder - 1 tablespoon

How to make Sukhe aloo

  1. Cut the boiled potatoes into big pieces.
  2. Heat oil in a kadai. Once the oil gets hot, add mustard seeds, when it starts spluttering add the potato pieces.
  3. Keep the flame on a little higher than the medium flame, keep tossing so that the potatoes get crispy and do not burn.
  4. Now add all the spices in it and toss well. Reduce the flame and cover for 1 min
  5. Open the cover and increase the flame, keep tossing well till the potatoes get a brown coat.
  6. Enjoy wid hot puris

My Tip:

These aloos taste good with bread too.
