ABOUT Khubani Ka Mitha RECIPE

Apricot is also known as Khubani, comprises of a centrally located single seed surrounded by crunchy aromatic edible flesh. The health benefits of this fruit are due to the significant content of vitamins, including vitamins A, C, K and E. By using such healthy ingredient in Jai Ki Rasoi Se made "Khubani Ka Mitha". An authentic hyderabadi traditional dessert often served during occasions like weddings and gatherings.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Apricot (Khubani) - 500 Grams
  2. Sugar - 200 Grams
  3. Raspberry Color - ½ Tea Spoon (Optional)


  1. Take a vessel add apricot and water. Boil them till they become soft and tender. Keep it aside and allow them to get cool
  2. Now smash them to deseed. Keep the seeds aside, they can be used later
  3. Take the pulp in a vessel, add sugar when it comes to boiling stage. On a slow flame cook till it come to thick consistency
  4. Now add raspberry and mix it
  5. Crack open the apricots seeds and remove the kernels. Blanch them and remove the skin. Add these seeds in the dessert
  6. Now the dish is ready. Serve it very chill by adding fresh cream or vanilla ice cream
