Jawar Bhakri

Ingredients to make Jawar Bhakri

  • 1 cup jawar flour
  • salt as per taste
  • Ajwain (carom) seeds 1 tsp
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • water

How to make Jawar Bhakri

  1. Take jawar flour, add salt, ajwain seeds, red chilli powder, mix all ingredients well.
  2. Make a dough with water.
  3. Now take a thali, invert it. Take small portion of jawar dough. Put this on thali and make roti with hands. Press it with fingers. Make round shape bhakri.
  4. Take a pan, put 2 tsp oil. Cook jawar roti / bhakri from both sides.
  5. Serve with onion, green chilli or lahsun Chutney.

My Tip:

For jawar bhakri no need to make dough before. Just knead a dough and make bhakri immediately.
