Creamy Chicken Karahi

Ingredients to make Creamy Chicken Karahi

  • 1kg chicken
  • 1 cup Oil or ghee
  • 2 tablespoons ginger & Garlic Paste
  • 1 tablespoon green chilli paste
  • 1 tablespoon chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala powder
  • 1 cup thick yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup cashews (paste or powder)
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 tablespoon Kasturi methi
  • salt to taste
  • 4-5 Green peppers

How to make Creamy Chicken Karahi

  1. Add oil in a Karahi and heat it.
  2. Add Chicken and cook it for 5 minutes approx.
  3. Add Ginger, Garlic and Green chilli paste; Black Pepper powder; Chilli flakes and salt to taste Mix well, cover and cook for 2-3 minutes at medum heat.
  4. Add Yoghurt; cumin Powder; Garam Masala Powder; Green Pepper. Mix well, cover and cook for 5 minutes at medium heat.
  5. Add Cashew paste, Milk, Kasturi Methi and cream. Mix well, and simmer for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Tada! Enjoy!

My Tip:

Best enjoyed with fresh Naan.
