About Lajwaab Appam.... Recipe

Healthy snack which is Full of vegetables, Non fried

Lajwaab Appam....

Ingredients to make Lajwaab Appam....

  • 1 cup sooji ( semolina )
  • 1/2 cup dahi ( curd)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Fine chopped vegetables ( Onion , tomato , ,capsisum , carrot )
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1/3 tablespoon baking powder
  • Black mustard seeds
  • curry leaves
  • green chilly , coriander leaves
  • Salt and pepper as per taste

How to make Lajwaab Appam....

  1. Take a bowl....add sooji..curd... veggies...fine chopped chillies and coriander leaves...and make a thick batter.
  2. Take a pan heat little bit oil .. add black mustard seeds &... curry leaves and let it crackle ... Add this to appam batter ..mix it well..
  3. Add baking soda , baking powder , salt and pepper and water for required consistency
  4. Heat appe pan ... Grease it with few drops of oil and pour better in each mould ... Cover it with lid for 1-2 minutes on low to medium flame for golden brown colour
  5. Flip it and cover again to cook another side And your hot and haelth appe is ready to serve with coriander and tomato chatni

My Tip:

U can also add besan ( gram flour ) or rice flour into it
