Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Onion big sized 1
  2. Potatoes medium sized 2 washed and sliced into thin rounds .
  3. Salt
  4. Butter 2 tablespoons
  5. Olive oil 1 tablespoon
  6. Green onions finely chopped 2 tablespoons
  7. Dill leaves 1 tablespoon
  8. Granulated garlic powder / crushed garlic 1 tablespoon
  9. Black pepper powder as per taste .

Instructions

  1. Cut the potatoes into thin round slices . Using potatoes with skin / skinless is totally optional .
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a pan .
  3. Add olive oil .
  4. Place the sliced round onions .
  5. Then place the round potato slices .
  6. Cover the pan and cook for 5 minutes so that potato gets half cooked .
  7. Take away the cover . Slow roast the potatoes and onions under medium heat .
  8. Add garlic powder / crushed garlic .
  9. Add salt .
  10. Add pepper powder .
  11. Keep turning the potato sides and roast till golden brown .
  12. Onions turn brown . caramelised and adds awesome flavour to the potatoes .
  13. Garnish with spring onions .
  14. Serve hot .
