This recipe uses Sprig American Spice Blend with spectacular results!Perfect for occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas or tea parties these Potatoes amalgamate with the spice blend to tell us that there is something beyond the masala which we use for our daily cooking.Sprig enhances the taste infinitely!

Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. 12 Potatoes
  2. 1 1/2 tbsp salt
  3. 2 tbsp Sprig Syracuse American Spice Blend
  4. 3 tbsp butter
  5. 4 tbsp Olive Oil
  6. 3 tbsp finely chopped Coriander Leaves


  1. Wash,peel and quarter the Potatoes.Keep them soaked in water till needed.
  2. Put the Potatoes in a saucepan and add water to cover them.Let the water come to a rolling boil and simmer for 3 minutes.
  3. Meanwhile heat oven to 210 degree C.
  4. In a roasting pan add the melted butter and Olive oil and spread evenly to cover the whole pan with a silicone brush.
  5. Put the pan in the oven for 5 minutes to heat the fat.
  6. Drain the partially cooked Potatoes in a colander.
  7. Now ladle the Potatoes into the prepared pan .
  8. Toss the Potatoes so as to amalgamate the fat on each of them.
  9. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 tbsp salt on them.
  10. Sprinkle Sprig American Spice Blend evenly on the Potatoes.
  11. Now lastly sprinkle the finely chopped Coriander Leaves and mix well.
  12. Return to the oven and start roasting. It would take around 1.5 hours for the Potatoes to get roasted to a lovely golden brown.
  13. Keep checking and tossing the Potatoes in between - after 20 minutes.
  14. After 1.5 hours when the Potatoes are finely roasted.
  15. Serve as a snack or as a dinner accompaniment.
