About Prawn Stroganoff Recipe

Dont get upset please frends ,Its usually Beef or chicken these meats which use Stroganoff gravy,but I tried this gravy named after P. Stroganav,with Prawns,!!Indeed yumm,went well with rice and French bread..Sour cream, Weikfield white pasta sauce,some dessicated coconut,curds ,onions butter and salt pepper.Turned out to be a great Stroganiff wuth juicy prawns cooked in the gravy.Go for it! :thumbsup:

Prawn Stroganoff

Ingredients to make Prawn Stroganoff

  • 5-6 Big prawns deveined
  • 1 cup curds /sour cream
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 packet Weikfield white pasta sauce
  • 1 cup dessicated coconut
  • 1 big white onion
  • 1tblspn ginger garlic paste
  • 1tspn pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 tblspn corriander
  • 1 tblspn butter

How to make Prawn Stroganoff

  1. Clean wash devein prawns
  2. Apply little salt and ginger garlic paste keep aside
  3. Chop onion fine
  4. Heat some butter in hot pan
  5. Keep onions to saute on slow flame
  6. Mix the Weikfield White Sauce Pasta with milk make a slurry
  7. Saute onions well add salt and corriander powder
  8. Add the white sauce slurry to the onion stir well to avoid lumps
  9. Add the beaten curds,/sour cream to the Cooking white gravy
  10. Add prawns too with 1 tsp pepper as well
  11. Cover cook for ten minutes ,slight open to avoid spill as milk base
  12. Un cover add dessicated coconut
  13. Mix well put off flame ,keep covered to retain Aroma
  14. Remove in your favourite serving bowl

My Tip:

Dont cover fully while cooking as milky gravies over flow Can fry prawns a little before adfing to gravy
