Bagara baingan

Ingredients to make Bagara baingan

  • 1/2 kg baingan just cut four (guthi)
  • 2 tsp kaju
  • 2 tsp water melon seedes
  • 2 tsp dri coconut chopped
  • 1 cup onion slices
  • 1 cup tamarind juice
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 3 green chilies spices
  • 1 cup hole garam masala
  • 1 cup oil and ghee
  • Half cup coriander chopped

How to make Bagara baingan

  1. Keep pan on a flame pour oil n ghee
  2. Add hole garam masala Fri it comes out nice aroma
  3. Add chili slices, onion slices Fri until gold colour
  4. Add ginger garlic paste Fri as it raw Ness left add baingan cover lid Fri slowly
  5. Mean while take mixy jar put coconut,kaju,water melon seeds make nice fine paste
  6. This paste add to baingan curry it gives good taste,nice gravy,add salt,chili powder,haldi mix gently add coriander cover lid few mins becoz total gravy flavour binds to baingans...enrich the taste
  7. Open lid serve in a bowl garnish with kaju, chopped coriander
  8. Ready to serve baingan bagara

My Tip:

Kaju,water melon seeds paste gives richness of this recipe
