ABOUT Rohu fish fry RECIPE

My family all time favourite, a delicious fish curry to be served with steamed rice.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Rohu fish 500 gram
  2. 1 1/2 spoon salt
  3. 1/2 spoon turmeric powder
  4. 1 spoon coriander powder
  5. 1 spoon red chilli powder
  6. 1 spoon garlic paste
  7. 1/2 lemon juice
  8. Oil for frying


  1. Clean the fish with water.
  2. Add salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garlic paste and lemon juice.
  3. Rub all spices on the fish and keep aside for 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a pan add mustard oil and once the oil is heated than add 5-6 fishes.
  5. Fry both sides till dark brown colour. Remove and fry the remaining fish in the same way.
  6. Serve hot with onions rings and lemon juice.
