Ingredients Serving: 3

  1. Dough for Vada:
  2. Boiled and mashed potatoes 2 - 3
  3. Water chestnut flour or Rajgira flour 3 - 4 tbsp
  4. Pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  5. Chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  6. Rock salt to taste
  7. Cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  8. Amchoor powder or lime juice 1 tsp
  9. Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  10. For topping:
  11. Yogurt 2 cup
  12. Tamarind chutney 1/4 cup
  13. Mint chutney 1/4 cup

Instructions

  1. Take a bowl mix all the ingredients of vada dough and mix well, make small balls (desired shape and size) and shallow fry in a pan.
  2. Place vada in a plate, add yogurt, mint and tamarind chutney. Sprinkle some salt, chilli powder and cumin powder.
  3. Serve hot.
