Ingredients to make Falahari Dahi Vada

  • Dough for Vada:
  • Boiled and mashed potatoes 2 - 3
  • water chestnut flour or Rajgira flour 3 - 4 tbsp
  • pepper powder 1/4 tsp
  • chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • rock salt to taste
  • cumin powder 1/2 tsp
  • Amchoor powder or lime juice 1 tsp
  • Chopped coriander 1 tbsp
  • For topping:
  • yogurt 2 cup
  • tamarind chutney 1/4 cup
  • mint chutney 1/4 cup

How to make Falahari Dahi Vada

  1. Take a bowl mix all the ingredients of vada dough and mix well, make small balls (desired shape and size) and shallow fry in a pan.
  2. Place vada in a plate, add yogurt, mint and tamarind chutney. Sprinkle some salt, chilli powder and cumin powder.
  3. Serve hot.
